T.A. Charron

T. A. Charron is a native New Englander, raised on a farm in South Attleboro, Massachusetts.

Charron attended the Art Institute of Boston, where he studied with Norman Baer and Walter Marks. After graduating in 1972 he pursued additional studies in sculpture at Providence College and stone lithography at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

He is a member of the Copley Society of Boston, the Academic Artists Association, the Salmagundi Club and the National Society of Painters in Casein and Acrylic in New York. Charron has exhibited in the Attleboro Museum, Duxbury Art Complex, Fuller Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts in Springfield, Mystic Maritime Museum, the Newport Museum, the Muscarelle Museum in Virginia and the Vancouver Maritime Museum in British Columbia, Canada. He was also the guest curator of the historic exhibition, New England Impressions, Painting from Life, hosted by the Attleboro Museum in 1998.
